Our next programme : The Grand Parc neighbourhood in Bordeaux
The next programme of Connexion Avenir concerns a group of young job seekers coming from the priority neighbourhood of the Grand Parc in Bordeaux.
They will take advantage of being supervised over a period of several months and will alternate between internships and training with our different partners. Our commercial partner LOCAL.fr will provide a high-performance APPLE computer and offer an internship in their Bordeaux branch to each participant. We will organise the training in partnership with the Académie YOUNUS.
APPLE computers will be supplied by our partner LOCAL.FR to the participants from the start of their programme.
The participants will be able to have access to the Internet throughout the programme, thanks to the connections offered by internet service provider FREE
In order to give them all the tools necessary to construct a flourishing future, we're going to train the participants in not only digital technology, so critical for their future professional life, but also the rules of how to act in business.
We have chosen to work with Académie YOUNUS who share the same objectives as we do
This association intervenes with youth in vulnerable social and educational situations.Its aim is to implement actions promoting social cohesion as well as personal and professional development, and academic success through the use of sport, culture and educational activities.
Founded in Bordeaux by Abdoulaye Ndiaye, former professional basketball player, the academy is well implanted in the priority neighbourhood of the Grand Parc in Bordeaux. Thanks to its excellent knowledge of the area and the trust it has built with its inhabitants, the academy is the ideal partner to help us select participants and then train them up for the next stage: their first step into a company.
The academy has already supervised a great number of young people since its inception in 2012.
It will work alongside Connexion Avenir in order to train the young participants of the programme and give them all the necessary tools to integrate seamlessly into professional life within a digital company – or to continue their studies in this domain.
Our COMMERCIAL partner, local.fr, will welcome the participants within its Bordeaux agency for a training course.

Website creation, communication and customer relations are their 3 domains of expertise.
The internships offered by local.fr therefore will enable the youngster to discover not only digital professions, but also the world of business – and could even lead to employment.
