Connexion Avenir - an association dedicated to the future of youth in the digital world
Connexion Avenir is a programme created for the youth and young adults living in priority neighbourhoods. It aims to fight against inequalities generated by the ever-growing place of the digital world in our day and age.
Our purpose is to provide the means – and, therefore, hope – to young people who are economically and territorially vulnerable. Our various programmes aim to open up connections for them to their future student or professional life. This is all thanks to our partnerships with companies, training organisations and educational establishments.
We intervene in several areas:
- the fight against “illectronisme”
- the connection to digital tools and professions
- support for the first steps in working life

Illectronisme = not having the skills to use common digital tools
It’s hard to believe... but 15.4% of the french population aged over 15 suffer from illiteracy.
However, with dematerialisation and the sudden explosive rise of Artificial Intelligence, daily access to digital technology has become essential. This knowledge is also critical for young people's professional future.
Thanks to our partners, each young person supported benefits from:
- a refurbished Apple computer
- an Internet connection
- training in basic digital skills
Once his apprenticeship is completed, the young person can join the "Connection to digital tools/jobs" programme.
A CONNECTION TO DIGITAL TOOLS/PROFESSIONS
The Internet and today's digital technology give an opportunity to promote social mobility…on the condition that people have the means to take advantage of these formidable tools.
In order to interest and train them in a tool that could become a main part of their job tomorrow, we provide the young people supported with:
- IT tools (computers and Internet connection)
- digital business training courses
- training in general knowledge and life skills
- an internship in a digital company with the aim of securing employment
The first steps in working life
Our role is to make a connection between a young job seeker and a partner company looking for new employees.
Well aware of our partner companies' expectations and professional imperatives, we are able to prepare the young job seeker for:
- job interviews
- the demands of the profession
- company cultures
- behavioural codes in business and life
All these strengths will enable themselves to present themselves with confidence, land their first permanent job and integrate into a company on a long-term basis.
