FIGHT AGAINST ILLECTRONISM programme
Combating 'illectronisme' among young adults
This programme is being run in collaboration with several partners:
- local.fr – website creator, for the supply of computer equipment
- the YouNus / Emmaus Connect Academy / La cravate solidaire / L’article 1, to provide training alongside us
- a partner to provide an Internet connection.
It is now very difficult, if not impossible, to evolve in our society without a good knowledge and practice of Internet-related tools.
Hard as it may be to believe, over 15% of people over the age of 15 do not master these precious tools!
This is a hindrance in everyday life, with many administrative services now only accessible online, but it is also a hindrance to successful integration into professional or student life.
The young participants will therefore be trained in the use of IT tools, but as the programme is designed to help them integrate into the world of work or student life, they will also be given highly personalised support to help them develop their self-confidence and find their way.
The ultimate aim is to give them all the tools they need to build a successful future.

We will be providing support and training for the young people with a number of partners, including Emmaüs Connect, la Cravate solidaire, l'Article 1, etc.

Our partner local.fr is donating an APPLE computer to each participant. This computer will be used for all the support and kept by the young person.

Because a computer without Internet access is nothing... Participants will be able to access the Internet throughout their training thanks to the connection provided by our partner.
